Dr. Arlene “Bambi” Lorica is a Board-certified Pediatrician who specializes in Functional Medicine. She obtained her MD at the University of the Philippines and completed her Pediatric residency training at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. A fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, she has also completed post-graduate training in Functional Medicine , and has studied Yoga and Energy Healing. Dr. Lorica’s passion for Functional and Integrative Medicine stems from her own personal health struggles. Diagnosed with severe TMJ and chronic pain 20 years age, she knows the limitations of traditional medicine. She has also struggled with recurrent diverticulitis and has successfully managed to avoid major surgery by applying Functional medicine techniques. Dr. Lorica firmly believes that understanding and treating the root cause of disease can lead to better health outcomes and improved quality of life for the vast majority of patients. Her holistic approach involves a highly detailed look into each patient’s health journey coupled with a battery of high precision lab tests to identify the specific imbalances, and prescribe corrective measures to set them back on the path towards a healthy and productive life.
